Tina - Deputy DSL/Director

After working in finance for the best part of 30 years, I decided to team up and support my husband Bal to fulfil his new-found passion for teaching children and young people that were in danger of exclusion or had been excluded. 

As a young person growing up I always supported children with disability and learning needs to swim at our local swimming centre. Helping young people has always been close to my heart and I am so proud to now be a part of a team and company that provides an inclusive education.

Baneeta - Operations Manager/DSL

I joined TIA Education in 2023 part-time after a break from employment due to ill health. All the staff at TIA Education were so welcoming and made it easy for me to transition back in to work. Now, I feel a part of the furniture! I enjoy being a part of our great team and I happily share the company values, which is focused on the children, their education and their unique circumstances. I am committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students and staff under my care and upholding a safe and supportive environment to thrive. 

Nigel - DT/SEN Teacher

After serving in the RAF for 22 years, Nigel made a career transition into education.

He initially explored the field by working as a technician and teaching assistant, which eventually led him to discover his true passion for teaching.

Nigel has successfully brought a multitude of transferable skills from his time in the RAF, making him a resourceful and innovative educator.



He particularly appreciates the flexibility that comes with working on a contractual basis, as it allows him to spend quality time with his wife and indulge in his current hobbies.

Tony - Music Specialist (Hit The Dhol)

Tony, coming from a musical family, has made remarkable progress in his musical career, establishing himself as an International DJ. He has had the privilege of performing at prestigious events like the Commonwealth Games' opening ceremonies and has developed expertise as a dhol specialist. Tony's passion for music extends beyond DJing, as he dedicates his weekdays to running dhol classes and collaborating with schools and charities across the UK to promote music as a means of learning and therapy.



Notably, Tony was recently recommended by a National Charity for an invitation to  attend the King's Coronation Party.

Coco - Therapy Dog in Training

I am a miniture golden doodle that likes to support the pupils of TIA Education. The pupils have taken to me very well and I feel spoiled by their love and affection. The pupils also want to take me home but I love my dad too much to leave him.

In the future, I may also be visiting some care homes to support the elderly and those with illnesses.
