Academic learning and qualifications
Our academic programme is tailored to each young person's starting point, ability and intended outcomes, with a strong focus on developing essential skills and supporting progression.
English & Maths
Learning from Entry Level through to GCSE, according to individual need and ability.
Functional Skills
Functional Skills in English and Maths can provide an accessible and recognised route to qualifications for young people where appropriate.
GCSE Support & Resits
We can support pupils working towards GCSEs and, where appropriate, facilitate access to external examination arrangements.
The King's Trust
As an approved King's Trust provider, we can offer programmes that develop skills, confidence, personal development and preparation for future education, training and employment.
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Enrichment and practical learning
Learning at TIA extends beyond traditional academic subjects. We provide practical and creative opportunities that enable young people to explore their interests, develop new skills and experience success in different ways.
Creative Arts & Music
Opportunities include art, music and learning to play instruments, encouraging creativity, self-expression and confidence.
DJ & Digital Skills
Young people can explore DJ skills, music technology, IT and digital learning through engaging, practical activities.
Life Skills & Independence
Everyday activities help young people develop communication, decision-making, independence and skills for adult life.
Physical Activity & Community Learning
Where appropriate, learning can extend into the community through physical activity, educational visits and practical experiences.
